Theo — The Archivist
Mr. Theo is our amazing backend manager, he does the research and advices our teachers to perfection to serve you best!
His motto is “A word visited five times is a friend” this is why the archive is big on repetition, he knows this is how language works and sticks. Our classes repeats weekly to offer students the benefit of repetition and to give everyone a chance to join!
A little background on our amazing Theo: he's an owl who lived in a thousand-year-old library. He spent his days reading and learning, and with a love for language, he wanted to bring that same passion to the world. He wants to connect the world through a shared language, and with English already being a connecting language, he chose it as the one to share with everyone, to create a bridge between cultures.
He hopes you enjoy each class and have a fantastic time learning!
Kru Panya — The Mentor
Kru Panya is the elephant who never forgets, and never lets you off easy, either. Being a Thai elephant, she brings culture to the Archive. She lets us know all the cultural nuances of Thai culture.
Her motto is "Fix one thing and you'll remember it forever." This is why the Archive keeps corrections simple but helpful. She shows us that Thai culture is soft and kind, helpful but never pushy. She grew up in rural Thailand, and she knows that bilingual skills can be extremely useful and open up a world of opportunity. She joined us to bring this to her people, and to uplift and empower her fellow countrymen.
Every session at the Archive runs on this same philosophy. Whoever's leading your class, Khru Panya's standard is what they hold.
